If you’re like me, you shop online a lot. It’s more convenient and I usually save a lot of money because I can shop around to find the best deal and read reviews and I don’t add tons more stuff to my cart while I’m at the store. Besides, my children generally aren’t with me when I shop online, so it saves a lot of time and kids asking for everything they see. I’m sure you shop online for a lot of the same reasons. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I could also be saving a lot with coupons codes and cash back websites.
Have you ever used a cash back website? The general idea of these websites is that you go to their website first and click on their link first before shopping at any website. When you click on their link, you get a certain percentage of cash back, usually in a month or two. It doesn’t cost you any more money, but you can end up making a good amount of income.
I don’t shop anywhere online without first checking if the website is in any of the cash back sites I am a member of. I’ve actually made thousands of dollars with cash back websites, but that’s partly because I use it for a little side job I have buying good deals online and selling them on Amazon. But the average person can still save money – a lot of money with cash back websites. Sure, most of them don’t have 30% cash back, but a few do. And saving 2-5% on average can really add up over time. Plus, it’s so easy and fast to save a few bucks.
BUT, it can be tricky knowing which cash back site has the best deal. So, here’s what I do. First, go to all these cash back sites and sign up first. You should sign up with all of them, because you want to go with the site that will give you the best deal – and it seems like it’s a different cash back site every time (Oh, I should say that I get a little referral money when you sign up with these sites, but it doesn’t cost you any money. Also, you could refer people to these sites too and you could make even more money with them).
Ebates ($10 Sign Up Bonus)
Mr. Rebates ($5 Sign Up Bonus)
After you’ve signed up for the above, go to evreward and put in the name of the website you want to shop on. It will tell you the best cash back site to shop to and you choose the best one, click on the link and start shopping/saving money. Another bonus is that they also have coupon codes right on their sites that you know will work – so you can save money and make money all at the same time!
Here are some examples of popular online retailers and the best place to shop through:
Retailer | Percentage | Cash Back Site |
---|---|---|
target.com | 2% | Ebates |
overstock.com | 3% | Mr. Rebates |
kohls.com | 3% | Ebates |
ebay.com | 5% | Ebates |
macys.com | 3% | Ebates |
gap.com | 3% | Mr. Rebates |
ae.com | 4% | Ebates |
landsend.com | 6% | Ebates |
bestbuy.com | 1% | Ebates |
Please let me know if you find a different cash back place for the above stores, cause it seems like it changes a lot. I would love to know if you have any more ways to get cash back online that I don’t know about.
There are a couple more sites to try and they are retailmenot.com and coupon cabin.com.
Yes, true. Those are good ones too!
